British singer Foxes headlined the global launch of the Honor 7 in London which saw a series of immersive experience zones bring to life the key features of the new handset.
Our creative process
Launch the new Honor 7 to a global audience including press, partners and Honor fans.
Honor’s brand message ‘For the Brave’ demanded a launch experience that immersed the audience in the product features rather than simply showing them.
Working with LEWIS PR, #Honor7Senses saw us deliver engaging experience zones around the 6 acknowledged senses with the new Honor 7 being crowned as the 7th sense.
Guests explored different sense zones including a BMX light painting display for ‘sight’ (demonstrating the speed of the Honor 7 camera), authentic street food and bespoke cocktails represented ‘smell’ and ‘taste’, and a modern palm reader embodying the 6th sense (and bringing to life the Honor 7 finger print reader). Guests could also ‘touch’ the Honor 7 phones in the demo area and brand ambassador Nellie Bell and Foxes brought to life the final sense ‘sound’ with their exclusive performances.
We created a live Twitter wall where guests could post content directly to the #Honor7Senses and #ForTheBrave hashtags. A social media campaign ran alongside the launch event that encouraged fans to post a photo expressing their senses for a chance to win a new Honor 7.
#Honor7Senses and #ForTheBrave generated over 10.1m impressions on Twitter during the launch event (Source: Brandwatch). There were over 774 pieces of European coverage following the launch with a total reach of over 2.1m.
