Over the course of the Summer of 2011, the megastore at Manchester United had a significant refit and modernisation. In order to celebrate the opening at the beginning of the the new season, Manchester United asked Slice to produce a launch event that impressed all stakeholders.
The brief was to showcase the new design and layout of the megastore, and make the press and fans excited about visiting the store both on match days and during the week. A number of key Manchester United personalities, including current playing staff and Sir Alex Ferguson, were invited to parcipate in a live Q&A session. In addition, we created photo opportunities for media consumers with players and the Premier League trophy. The atmosphere was kept lively with music from a leading Manchester DJ.
