ghd wanted to support salons across the country who sell their limited edition Pink styler from their colour range. Slice came up with a solution that was flexible and allowed us to reach as many locations as possible in a limited 5 week period.
Slice and partner Engine agencies created a campaign concept based on the latest trend for a ‘wavy’ beach look. Titled ‘Make Waves this Summer’, the campaign included in-salon support, social media engagement and exclusive online content. Slice created the ‘Making Waves’ tour, giving women & girls across the country the chance to get their hair styled and with this summer’s look. Basing the activity from a unique luxury vehicle, we went 15 carefully planned locations – maximising footfall and supporting the maximum number of salons, giving an OTS of over 1.2million, and generating a huge amount of positive social media buzz.
